**AI Engine** — A conversational artificial intelligence system that generates responses to natural language questions. Geosnap monitors ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Mode; Perplexity and Claude are coming soon.

**AI Rating** — The core metric of Geosnap that measures your brand's overall visibility in AI responses. It considers the frequency, position, and consistency of mentions.

**AI Search** — The phenomenon where users use conversational AIs instead of traditional search engines to find information, compare products, and make decisions.

**AI Visibility** — The extent of your brand's presence and recognition in responses generated by Large Language Models.

**Brand Detection** — The process by which Geosnap identifies all mentions of your brand and competitors in AI responses.

## C

**Commercial Intent** — A type of question focused on evaluating and comparing solutions. Example: "What is the best CRM for small businesses?"

**Competitor AI** — Brands that appear in AI responses within your same category. They may differ from your traditional market competitors.

**Country** — The geographic market selected in Geosnap that determines the language, cultural context, and competitive analysis.

**GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)** — The discipline focused on optimizing a brand's presence in responses generated by Large Language Models. It complements traditional SEO.

## I

**Informational Intent** — A type of question aimed at knowledge and education. Example: "How does project management software work?"

**Intent** — The intention behind a question asked to an AI engine. Geosnap classifies questions into three levels: informational, commercial, and transactional.

**LLM (Large Language Model)** — An AI model trained on vast amounts of text, capable of generating natural language responses. Examples: GPT (OpenAI), Gemini (Google).

## P

**Prompt** — A question or instruction sent to an AI engine. In Geosnap, prompts are conversational questions simulating real user behavior.

## S

**Sentiment** — The perception and tone with which AIs describe your brand. Classified as positive, neutral, or negative.

**Sources** — The web sources that AI engines cite or use as references in their responses. They represent the most direct lever to influence AI visibility.

## T

**Transactional Intent** — A type of question with purchase intent or direct action. Example: "How much does [product] cost and where can I buy it?"

Schema.org data (JSON-LD) embedded in the page code. It tells the AI explicitly what the page is about and who published it.
